  • Royal Mail Strikes - 2022

    Posted on 5 Dec 2022 14:06

Due to Royal Mail strikes and a large number of severely delayed orders I have taken the decision to shut the store until after Christmas.  This has not been an easy decision but given the current chaos with Royal Mail it seems for the best.  Please accept my apologies and I hope to see you all again in the New Year.

  • Royal Mail Strikes - November 2022

    Posted on 3 May 2021 12:01

Due to the planned Royal Mail Strikes in November there may be severe delays in the shipping of orders.  Royal Mail plans to hold strikes 3 says a week throughout November.

Please can I ask for your patience when waiting for an order to be delivered.  As you can appreciate this is entirely beyond my control.

Rhank you all for your continued custom.

    Many thanks Damon

  • Royal Mail Price Increases 1/1/2021

    Posted on 31 Dec 2020 18:01

Unfortunately due to Royal Mail increasing it's prices I have had to increase shipping costs in line.  Please be aware my shipping costs include any payment fees from PayPal, Stripe etc.  This allows me to keep brick prices as low as possible.

The store will be closed on the 25th and 26th December 2020 for the holidays and will re-open on the 27th December.  Please be aware that due to the large volumes of mail and last posting dates there may be delays in receiving your items

May I take the opportunity to thank you all for your custom during our first year on Brickowl and wish you all a happy holiday and New Year.

  • Plastic Reduction And Recycling

    Palstic Reduction And Recycling

I'm trying to reduce the amount of plastic in my parcels, so in future orders you will find less plastic bags or plastic bags kept to a minimum.

I'm also recycling envelopes and padded envelopes where I can.  So if you get an envelope or bag that's been used before it's not me being tight just a bit more responsible !

If anyone wants to send me back plastic bags you've accumulated I'm more than happy to give a discount on future orders to help recycling.

Please where possible re-use or recycle the packaging I send you.

  • Shipping Timescales - 15th August 2020

    Posted on 15 Aug 2020 12:52

Royal Mail Click And Drop is now my preferred way of shipping, it's seems to be proving very effective in getting mail to it's destination quickly.  The labels all have QR codes and specific delivery round codes which seems to speed thing up especially 2nd Class mail.

Orders to the rest of the World seem to be back to normal 5 - 7 Business days.

  • Corona Virus (COVID 19) Shippong update 30th June 2020

    Posted on 30 Jun 2020 23:22

U.K. deliveries now seem to be mostly back on track although some parts of the country are taking 5 working days for 2nd Class post.

International deliveries are experiencing delays, Italy is proving to be a major headache with some post taking in excess of 6 weeks to arrive.  If you are ordering from outside the U.K please bear this in mind.

Shipping costs are for basic postal services, I retain proof of postage for all orders, so unless you request a signed / tracked delivery I cannot be responsible for lost items.  Shipping is done as cheaply as possible to keep costs to you as low as possible.
